What will happen to the poll configuration formula. Can it change? Could it be open to non-members? Is there a rundown on passed challenges ranked to their number of voters?

Looking forward hearing what the new Kitchen challenge will be.

@oorlab , the poll formula will be tweaked a little bit, but not too much. As said before the polls won't be open for non-members, we only trust votes from members. But one can easily register for an account in the kitchen.
Rundown: no. But you can look in the 'Challenges' board, the voting topics all contain 'Voting' and 'Results'  in the topic-title. As far as I recollect our most popular topic had 20 contestants and 30 collected votes..

Congratulations everyone for putting on such a nice bunch of songs.

This one was a tough one for me to vote on. Usually, I look at the lyrics,
melody and structure of the song first, and the singing, production, musicianship etc come pretty far down on my list. This is because I just think it's song writing and some people sing better than others, have better equipment and skills and someone who wrote a very good song without the frills should have a shot.

Not so in this case, when Bernie gives Elton a lyric I'm sure he's expecting a hit. So, singing, production etc, scored higher from me than it usually does.

I just wish more members would have taken the time to have listened and voted, even if they didn't have a horse in this race. But, as they say, it is what it is.

Anyways, a lot of words to just let everyone know - good job!

Congrats @MichaelA and all other great entries in this challenge, it was interesting to follow and listen to all great songs (all had some good stuff in them) from such great lyrics.  Really hard to decided on points too.

Wow, what with all the TV and radio interviews yesterday, including a flight across the Atlantic and back for NBC, well I just didn't get the time to come back into the thread to thank everyone who latterly passed on congrats.

So a final thanks from me to @robertkc , @Layerson  and my fave bookmaker tipster @Dakoda! Plus anyone else I have missed while in this media whirl.

Plus forgot to say thanks to @Mar T.  for organising the poll so smoothly, @oorlab for doing the useful playlist and people such as @Mark Luto and @Dutchbeat for gently nudging the challenge on now and again.
