@Mar T.  & @Dutchbeat   bit late to the party - if I can join, that'd be cool - otherwise I will keep my eyes & ears open for the next round.

Wow, good for you @Leonard Scaper on getting permission to cover @Zedd 's song!

I think it is a great song, really nice lyrics, rhymes, and piano accompaniment and harmony.

I'll be looking forward to see what you do with it in your LS style.

Hey Kitcheners!!! There's still PLENTY of time to get down with this challenge. Here is a quote from @MichaelA :

.....it was indeed a good and proper 'challenge', and I've never tackled a cover for many a year - since I was in a kid in my first band playing in bars and pubs in the UK. I actually found it harder than writing and recording my own songs, as there's the core structure of the original that you can't simply ignore. With my own stuff, well I am generally just making it up as I go along, ha ha!  ;D  So a good technical exercise which more kitcheners should have a go at.........

Don't we all need a good and proper challenge???

I agree with that wise chap you quoted @Leonard Scaper;D

It would be great to see more folk on board, for sure - and anyone entering would certainly benefit themselves from working through this intriguing musical challenge!  ::thumb::
If you like novels with a musical theme, why not try 'Sixth Beatle - When Music Changed The World', easily found on Amazon and Google. It is amazing, although as the author I may be biased!

Is this the ultimate picture within a picture?
I agreee with @MichaelA  who quote somebody who quotes @Leonard Scaper
What ever is the successful formula? These are the best in the kitchen! I really think so!
I think that any wise guy, who quotes @MichaelA , who in turn will quote @Leonard Scaper ?
Good thing he doesnít quote Bono or weíd have the pope on our forum.
The pope in the Kitchen?
Ok, if he brings in his latest song??? Donít think so! I donít think he will.....

More folk? Big bill bronzy at 2 meters and 3centimeters a giant of his generation, let alone of his blues capability?
He said that all music is made by folk (s). So that American folk blues festival is a scam.

A slightly unhinging posting to show that (or trying to) quoting doesnít always make it right!!!
But I believe in @MichaelA   And @Leonard Scaper  (and @Zedd) to name a few.....

Itís just a roundabout way to figure out what @Bill from November Sound  is going to think of next?
Iím curious what this is going to amount up to??? Is this English at all?
Correct me please?
Thanks!
Kind regards, Gus

Yes I'm great. It's a good thing I have an alias.

I have to be taking part in discussions to train my English. I use other languages more than English.
That somebody notices I'm a man is already a thing of comfort.

So.....
That's the reason.
Kind regards, Gus

Oh @LePlongeur  .... it's an American expression and probably doesn't translate well.

"You're the man!", "You the man!", "You 'da man!" or any variation of that is not referring to your gender but rather it is short for "You are the man of the hour!" It is a celebration of how excellent you are.  ::Hoss:: :D

Ahhh...., we're at it again.
I f*ck around with the language, and you take it too literally.
I am really sorry. Self mocking again. I'll quiet down a bit.
I, not you, are the one to apologize.
Kind regards, Gus
