Finally had time to listen to all entries and VOTE!
Great selection of different interpretation of the assignments. All contestants: well done!!
We have 15 votes already, I've hidden the results (They were open for everybody to see AFTER they voted, sorry for that. Now they're invisible for everybody again). So what happens this (last) voting week will be unknown until friday when we will announce the top-5!

Kitcheners, please help us getting at least 25 votes, it's more fun when (as much as possible) non-contestants vote as well.

Cheers!!

@Mar T.  Well, to be quite honest, I thought it was quite exciting to watch the slow changing of the overall score. I know that visible intermediate scores can work like an exit poll, and such polling could influence the final steps, but it felt a bit like a horse race I was watching - or speed skating if you like.

Hehe @Dutchbeat , well we DID collect 16 votes, that's twice the amount of contestants, so thank you all non-contestants for your involvement and helping us decide who the winner is.

@Dutchbeat and I both have a busy evening, so we'll announce the TOP-5 straight away without too many ceremony..

Here's the results!!!

1. oorlab - Chinese whispers - 46 points (14.4%)
2. Dutchbeat & Leonard Scaper  - Did i really just say that? - 43 points (13.4%)
2. Pleudoniem - That's not what I meant at all - 43 points (13.4%)
3. robertkc - Changing The World - 40 points (12.5%)
4. LePlongeur - Whiplash II - 39 points (12.2%)
5. Timothy Smith - A man I cannot be - 38 points (11.9%)

Congratulations @oorlab , you're the winner!! Congratulations!!

We have a shared 2nd place, that's why we see 6 songs in the TOP-5.

Runners up  'Just Cooking'  ( @Dutchbeat / @Leonard Scaper ), @Pleudoniem@robertkc , @LePlongeur and @Timothy Smith : well done and congrats for ending up in the TOP 5!!

Cheers, let's open up the bottle of Champagne!!!

Congrats to @oorlab  ::thumb:: Close races are the most exciting ones, and all the contestants are quite close. That is a compliment to all of them.

@Dutchbeat How shall I put it, well, that's not what I meant at all...

Honestly, I didn't think the song was going to do much, because of the sound quality. I am happy to see it was liked none the less. This could be a good reason to record it again, but now in higher bitrate, and with more advanced tools.

And the reason that you're positioned above me with a similar score is just alphabetical, isn't it?  ;D
