I've been entering and voting in these challenges, even when I didn't have an entry, and I don't remember ever seeing a result like this. Not just because of sharing first place with @Mo, which is an honor, but just the way the vote turned out.

 @LePlongeur   imo had the best line for any summer song and one I wish I thought of. I've entered songs that I thought were really really good and never ended up in the top five. I never liked this song all that much - my two minute verse chorus three chord song structure - , but it was the best I could do for this challenge. Go figure.

I loved  all the entries and I'm very glad you liked mine.

Oh wow I am amazed!
To be honest, I was very doubtful that I would get anywhere near a placement.  Usually people like familiar things more and the competition is so professional and talented with their instruments.
But it confirms once again my suspicion that there are no ordinary people here in the  kitchen!  That's why I love it so much.
Yes, I love you guys and I love sharing the place with @Vince and his really super pretty song!
 I don't know what more I can say except thank you for your affirmation and the push to realise new song ideas!  All entries were beautiful in their own way. Congrats to all!  And  many thanks to @Mar T. for organise it! Maybe we somewhen find I way to carry this challenges beyond the forum borders and let more people  (mean not just other songwriters) participate  for audience and voting.

I agree with @oorlab: Here's to a new round,. After contest is before contest.
Maybe a new competition with team building?
