"Missing" graphics on this forum
on: December 01, 2015, 17:09:31
Hi there,

I don't know if it's just me, but quite a few of the buttons and icons on this site aren't showing up in my browser...if I do a bit of digging around I notice a few console errors telling me that they aren't missing, but are actually forbidden (HTTP 403).

As admins, do you have the access rights to change the permissions on web server files?  That might fix the problem... :) Apologies if this has already been discussed or isn't a problem for anyone else, just trying to help!   ;D

Hi Jim, i leave technical issues to my fellow-administrator Fischermans....but i know there is a difference between what you see when logged into the forum as a member as opposed to just looking at it, and that perhaps is connected to this... ??? ??? ???

i don't know anything about these technical things, but for me the forum all looks fine, all buttons work etc....

Fisch....(Yoehoe!  8) ;D ;D ;D) can you look at this  ??? ??? ??? ???
me, myself, and Pie

Hi Jim, which browser do you use? With Safari there is no problem. Can you concrete which Buttons you are missing?

Hi there,

I've attached a screen shot showing some of the graphics not showing up.  I use Chrome (latest version) on Windows.

Here's some sample console output:

It might be my Internet proxy at work, by the way, just thought of that...it's a bit paranoid.  :o  I'll try it from home later on...

Hi there,

Yeah, just now...was a late one last night.  :o

Seems OK here, must be our paranoid router at work.  >:(
