Hi Kitcheneers,

Sorry I've been gone for so long. Been very busy with work and life in general.
Also I haven't written songs in a while. I have however been playing and performing with other musicians and I've joined a choir.

Some of you may remember the last song I posted here. It wasn't the most happy one.
So I just wanted to let you know I'm doing fine now. There's a little gal or dude - we don't know yet - that's the main reason for my hapiness there days. And my tiredness for that matter  ;)

So just a quick update.
I'll let you know if I start cooking music again!

Love,
Steph

Joining a choir and getting preganant are the only acceptable excuses for getting too tired to write. Or so I’ve been told.
Great news!
You might like to get inspiration from the 10000 Maniacs song I eat for two.
I believe From 1989, cause then I bought the vinyl.
Take good care of both of you!
Kind regards, Gus

Good to see you checking in @siennalittle and with such great news.  ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb::

My wife and I are part of a contemporary community choir so we do everything from jazz / rock / pop / some classical / musicals ... an eclectic mix. It's great fun, but can be tiring at times.

I know from first hand experience how uplifting singing in a choir is, everybody singing on a long exhale (bodies natural relaxation mechanism) and good breathing, so there will be real positives if you can keep singing during your pregnancy. Good for the body and the soul. :-)

Nobody really knows but I wonder if singing and music might somehow translate to the baby too so if it does then that's another plus.

Maybe it's a great time to do some songwriting about motherhood, we are always looking for things to write about and it's a special experience.
