My heart jumps from pure pleasure!
You dare to explore many different roads lately and still maintain the magic fingerprint.
Itís simply great I think.

I do have a few questions, if I may. @Chris Spruit
Daveís guitar sounds a bit thinner or less driven. I wonder if he usually uses the strat with the rails pickups? I never thought that that was the case, but now I start to wonder.
You seem to sing far away from microphone. I do know itís not the type to really lean into, but this far???

Love it all the more now that the basis is taken care of with the bass.
All words aside, I really love it to see and hear you back!

Kind regards (also for the other grey tigers), Gus

@Dutchbeat Thank you and thank you :-)

@LePlongeur

Hello Gus my friend,
Sorry for making myself so rarly, lately, but I have a training program going on right now that is taking up even more of my time. This song is one of my wishes to lure the boys out of their comfort zone. Ha and threw me right out with them, lol.
The question with the pickup guitar ,I have to ask Dave, but I think that this violent act of mixing has taken its toll on the sound. But I haven't got a clue about guitar pick up and also mixing.
Regarding my microphone positioning, I have to say, that although I am clearly sung live while the recording , the positioning is actually only a symbol for my way of recording while playing the piano. I move too much around while playing anyway. But when I record in the "dry room" only record BGVs and main vocals, I sometimes have to take even longer distances in the really dynamic vocal part, because otherwise I clip.
Unfortunately, our first video of this kind! We were not able to use the live tracks, so it's more semi .... but it's also not easy to get the Canadian slooow network and American Hall untreated Roomsound and my piano vocal mess, strumming together in a tightand good sounding way. ...oceans away....Despite all that we laughed a lot and had so much fun, for example because I didn't know how stupid I looked with my angel face, that's why ...the OHHH HOMEE Angels at the end....lol You can't take it too tight...on us GUS. Fun was the motivation...but we will work on it!

Love to you and great to find you well and involved in good music here at the kitchen
Yours Chris

I would like to ask your permission to think again about the microphone-techniques (or how do I write this)?
Iíll be in touch tomorrow I think.
Your singing deserves nothing but the best you know???
To be continued......
Kind regards @Chris Spruit , Gus

Hey @Chris Spruit   this is pretty cool!

Honestly, it's nothing like I expected by reading your description, hearing your previous music and all the comments people left here in this thread.

It's cool though. NS left a like and a comment on the video on YouTube.  :ok:
