Hey guys!
I hope that u are having great weekend :)
My teacher told me to start practicing some jazz standards . I accepted that challenge to go beyond rock metal roots :)
Its my trial of playing that great song

Nice tune @Kajetan Zduniak ! Glad you're moving into jazz as well. I wouldn't call this particular song a "standard" however. At least we don't call this a standard here where I live.  ;)  I do love Roy Hargrove and I do like songs that have those melodies that move like that.
Good show!

That Jazz theme has a very interesting melody
It reminds me of some songs by French violinist Jean Luc Ponty
If you are still working with this type of music, I'm sure you'll be very good for your career as a guitarist
Congratulations!!  ::thumb::

It's great to see you trying out all sorts of styles @Kajetan Zduniak  :-)

Learning jazz is a great way to understand scales, modes, chord shapes and things like chord substitution.

A good site for jazz related theory etc and playing tips that I use is the Creative Guitar Studio (Andrew Wasson) YouTube site.
Yes he's keen to sell his courses but there is lots and lots of free stuff on there too.

Don't  forget punk, ska , funk, reggae, folk and all the other stylistic variations of guitar playing as well as altered tunings.

Lots of variation will make you a well rounded player and will help you writing your own stuff too.

Nice one
