trying out some new material

Hi all,

My band has a new album coming out in a few weeks and we've been playing the album, in track order, on some recent gigs.

Here's a short clip from last night, a small bar in Sydney that had a great sound guy which was a great bonus.

This is one of the slower songs.

It's on facebook but I'm hoping the link will work for any of you...

cheers

I like it. It's the real thing. You guys look good up there. Everything is nicely balanced and everybody looks confident and engaged.

I like how this tune develops as well.
"The main thing is to have a gutsy approach....but use your head." Julia Child

"In a world of robotic conformity, the only originality left in music is the imperfections" Eric Craptone

"Special thanks to Steve Gleason for making me who I am today." Leonard Scaper

Nice. Is there  a special reason why you only posted 1’12”?
I’ll adviced modesty?
Anyway..., I hope you’ll change your evil ways (Santana?) and post the whole song (Gus).
Kind regards, Gus

Thanks @Leonard Scaper and @LePlongeur

I posted a short clip as the video isn't great quality - but I'm really surprised at how well the sound has come out considering it was filmed on an iPhone 5...

here's another short clip - another new song that will be on album out in a couple of weeks.

Hey @Jurgen I'm working on getting you guys booked in Las Vegas right now!!!!  ;D   ..... but ... I'm terrible at getting gigs so don't hold your breath.  ;)

Seriously, nice job man!
You all are doing great! Maybe we can open for you some day.... don't forget me.

Thanks @Zedd and @Bill from November Sound  - really appreciate you taking a look/listen and your comments

Las Vegas or anywhere in States might be a while away yet Bill  :)

We're pretty much playing a small part of Sydney called the "inner west" - it has more interesting neighbourhoods, music venues, arts etc. Really close to the CBD and geographically not far from beaches like Bondi etc. but very different in many ways from the beach culture that maybe Australia is known for (?)

thanks again everyone for having a listen and commenting - karma coming to you

cheers
