Greetings from Johannesburg!
on: June 19, 2020, 13:47:57
Hello everyone! I am a Guitarist / Composer / Song Writer - originally from the UK - but for the last 7 years have lived in South Africa. I am lucky enough to have a home studio here - where I work each evening writing and recording my original instrumental stuff...one day hoping that something will get picked up for a Movie. I have released two self funded solo records - but my direction is taking a seriously orchestral turn right now - and I am spending some time learning how to score properly - but in a way that will still sound fresh, impactful and dynamic (and to me....beautiful)

My songs are all about things that have shaped my life - so all very personal.

I hope you find time to listen and feedback on some of my future postings - I appreciate any/all advice that will help me further develop as a Composer / Writer and Musician.

Stay well.

Welcome @Tolo I went to your website and listened to a few previews... especially intrigued by “Flesh and Blood.” It all sounds well composed and produced. You clearly know what you are doing.

Really beautiful Website!

Looking forward to hearing more from you... 😎

The only  person I heard talking South African recently, was Charlize Theron.
And that was ‘biggy snaak ‘, so to speak.
You’d be surprised if you could see where all of the Kitcheners are coming from.
A huge melting pot.
I listened to your song/post already, so reallythere’s not much more to do than to wish you happy times here.
And buggy inspiration. Biggy of course.
Kind regards, Gus
