Hello From Denmark
on: November 18, 2017, 09:50:38
Music has been an important part of my life for the last 50 years but always and only as a hobby next to my professional "International Business" life.

When I went to early retirement January this year I set myself a goal - write 12 new pieces of music in 12 months. The project is beyond my expectations as I have made 21 new compositions in my small home studio so far in the project I call "A Silent Life".

Productive yes but also curious about still learning and, not least, exchanging ideas in this forum
Best Regards
Klaus / KER

Welcome to The Kitchen, Klaus. Sounds as if you have embarked an a second calling.  ;)

This is a fantastic place to be if you want to look into a mirror and see a reflection of your musical self as there are many like-minded folks here who are doing that exact same thing. Take a look around and you'll see what I mean.
"The main thing is to have a gutsy approach....but use your head." Julia Child

"In a world of robotic conformity, the only originality left in music is the imperfections" Eric Craptone

"Special thanks to Steve Gleason for making me who I am today." Leonard Scaper

Hi @Krysoe (Klaus), welcome to the kitchen! What a great way to spend your time after retirement, I'm jealous!  ;)
There's a lot of beautiful, talented, creative, helpful and funny people here, so I'm confident you'll find what you're searching for.
Have a look around in our kitchen and have fun!
Cheers!

Hello @Krysoe  - I'm a retired geezer myself, but seem to be busier than ever (nobody truly retires until mamma retires)  ;D

I didn't see any links to any of your music to check out. Not being a prolific song writer myself, it's always good to have a goal and I look forward to following  your progress.

Welcome to the Kitchen. Despite being a retiree I too seem to be busier than ever.
It is nice having more of your 'head space' for music though  ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb::
