Hello from Turkey!
on: October 02, 2019, 12:22:22
Hello everybody, my name is Tanju Demirhan. I'm a selftaught componist and guitarrist from Turkey/Antalya. Unfortunatelly I'm still not professional but I really try to get into it. I guess my biggest problem was bad networking, not getting to know too many people in the business.
I think the music I write is pretty much classified as "Epic Orchestral". Sure I also write Rock music and Metal but I feel like that over the years I got more experience in orchestral stuff.
I'm really excited to see how the community is and I'm open for collabs, just chats, and pretty much everything else  :D

@TDM ....Hey, Tanju! Welcome to The Kitchen.

Whether you aspire to be a professional writer/musician or just have some songs to write, this is the perfect place to air things out. If you can record some of your songs, even on a phone, folks here will give them a listen and give you whatever lever of critique you seek. We're all family here so you can feel comfortable no matter what level of expertise you are at.

Pull up a kitchen chair and check out some of the threads to see what folks are up to.

welcome @TDM Tanju Demirhan - nice to have a new member, from Antalya. Would be a nice place for a Kitchen Meetup. Can you recommend some Turkish musicians to check out?  Good luck - will listen to your music asap

Thank you  :D and I totally agree! Antalya would be a great place for a meetup.
About the turkish musicians, well we got Fazıl Say who is most probably one of the most known turkish musicians these days. But since i don't really listen a lot of turkish music i kinda lack knowledge on that part  ::)
