Hello from Urban Tumbleweed

So I've been on the forum for a couple of weeks now and have really enjoyed the experience so far. I have definitely already learned new things and stretched myself as a result of comments made. I have received lots of constructive comments some of which were new to me and some of which I had probably realised myself but then lazily let them be so thanks for the kick up the backside. My genre is mainly Pop Rock but I do occasionally drift into some more beaty stuff which I will post as time goes on. I come from Worcestershire in England and was mainly raised on a diet of guitar rock music. I also play in a band which covers some of my original songs but we also do many well known covers as it seems to be what people want to hear in pubs and clubs these days which is a bit disappointing. We have a gig tonight so I am a bit nervous at the moment lol. Anyway thanks for the comments so far and keep 'em coming.

So our Saturday night gig went well. No major cock ups and a decent audience response. We have some "cover" footage and original audio. Whats the situation with regard to "covers" on the Kitchen. Do we avoid them or what? I don't want to be infringing anybody's copyright etc.

We don't mind an occasional cover song.......post away.

Glad to hear that the gig went well.
