Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression, @EnelyM
And it was meant in a good natured way. I’ll try and explain.
Yé yé chanteuses sometimes sing clear like a bell. Like France Gall and Sylvie Vartan. But there are a lot of these singers who whisper-sing.
This is supposedly very sexy. French friend mock me a bit because I like Johnny and Sylvie better than the Stones.
And because I wrote an homage to the yé yé singers, which is considered something for pussies.

So when Mark said he like the French chansons, I sort of came in with the ‘secret’ that I like the yé yé’s.
As if typing it here would mean that the secret was kept.

Anyhow, it was absolutely not meant in a harsh or sexist way. Nor did I intend to turn against you. But I’ll be more careful next time.
I’m really sorry.
Kind regards, Gus

Oh ok I see, I really didn't understand what you were saying...
Thanks for the explanation :)
Yes indeed, the French music style can have this sexy sound. I like the sensuality that comes from it and I am glad you like it too ;)

Maybe we should share this kind of music @LePlongeur
