Hello! Today I appeared on the latest episode of the Talk Tonight Podcast discussing my influences, career so far and maybe more interestingly my songwriting process. It's a quick listen and a decent podcast so if you would be kind enough to have a click i'd really appreciate it

Thanks Mr B. Yeah I thought it might make thigns interesting if people could follow my journey so to speak.

I like it a lot. Had to concentrate since the kind of English gave me some trouble.
But it was worth it.
More than.

I have a question though. Around 5 minutes running time, you two talk about Kek Ben or some such name.
And i’ve Been looking round in YouTube and Google but I misunderstood or did something wrong.
Can you please help me out?

Like MrB I like the going after opportunities and I would like to extend that to going after inspiration.
Musicians are the only breed to seemingly wait for inspiration. No other discipline is doing that.

I thought I might as well tell you what I gained from the podcast after your explanation.
Not because I believe my opinion matters, but to let you know how it reaches the ears of people who don’t live in your area. Or people who are not native English speakers/listeners.

Sorry, it wasn’t you who said Kek Ben, it was the other guy.
So looking back, it was my mistake entirely.
But if I say: ‘k Ben clairvoiant, ‘k ga je kesen
It’s very relevant, very deep (and kudo’s) kind of Amsterdam, but at the same time 95% of the Dutch don’t have any idea what I’m talking about.

So my idea? Be good and tell it only works if you take your (target) public in consideration.
Do you want to be recognized in your community? Go on, please.
If you want to broaden your exposure? If someone says Kek Ben, you reply with: yes, Curt Cobain was my hero at the time. Example only, but you know what i’m talking about.

Your hero gave THE worst performance at Paradiso Amsterdam too. But that’s a different story altogether.
In short: thank you for posting this interview. And good for you, that your music gets this extra exposure. I think you really deserved this. Good idea that you accented the going after ideas and inspiration. This is specially wonderful since this is a disregarded part of our craftsman/womanship.

The best questions are questions, that make me think again.
