My new book
« on: February 15, 2018, 22:20:07 »
I know I'll never be rich because I'm the world's worst self-promoter whether it's my songwriting or in this case book writing. That being said, I'm very proud to announce the availability of my memoir entitled "White Boy From The Townships" . Long story short, I was deeply involved in the anti-apartheid movement throughout the mid-80s and beyond. If interested the easiest why to know more is follow the Amazon link below and read the description. Thank you friends. James

Congratulations on this release, James. It sounds like a great story.

I have written a few manuscripts myself that I have never gone all the way with so I applaud your move into the marketplace with this one.

@Leonard Scaper   Thanks Leonard. I was originally asked to write the book at the request of the Director South African National Archives in 2006 or 2007 as part of a collection of recordings and music that I donated. I dragged my feet for years finally wrote...then rewrote it. I hope to have paperback available in a few weeks or so.

Thanks again.

Well done on the book @Mr Sydney , which sounds interesting for sure. I wrote one myself, but songs are so much quicker to write! If somebody doesn't like your song, it's like meh. only took a few hours, But books take months, years even!
If you like novels with a musical theme, why not try 'Sixth Beatle - When Music Changed The World', easily found on Amazon and Google. It is amazing, although as the author I may be biased!

Congratulations @Mr Sydney, it's great for you to get this important part of your life out in print. I must admit to being envious of people who can do this.

@MichaelA -  given the speed that I work with songs I'm definitely in the 'I could have written a book in that time' zone ;-)

Congratulations to you @Mr Sydney:)  The subject sounds very relatable to me, as well.

(I'm still in the stone age when it comes to ebooks .... but once I figure it out ....)
