Wasteland

I like to jump in here and post every once in awhile..most of its trivial writing, but it keeps me writing....lol

Wasteland [stuck in a motel for a week]

Hello everyone,
I live in a local motel,
everyone used to be someone,
all the divorced women in town.

A pound of butter,
a cup of sugar,
shall I dance for you?

All seems placid,
till the sun goes down,
one wants to save me,
one know sins, "I dont.

All the maidens
"new boy in town,
men show there testosterone,
from behind their bottles.

A little piece of the wasteland,
with deluxe accommodations,
tattooed beauties, will add your name.

Bolt the doors,
a needed feature,
someone could end up on the floor.

No chance of leisure,
the drama goes on,
unpack my jeans
one pair at a time.

Tepid creatures,
not hot or cold,
here in my deluxe world...Vincent

This has all the boozy swagger of a down-and-out transient that would make Tom Waits light a cigar and sit at the piano pondering.

Nice work @Lane
