Since a few people have been asking - here is fairly basic phone recording of our choir BeVox singing at Lincoln  Engine Shed on Sunday that an audience member posted up on YouTube.
The concert was called Rock The Engine Shed so it featured various type of rock songs from different eras. I'm the head on the back row on the extreme left.

Plenty of energy in this one and I think it comes across to the audience. I'm hoping somebody has filmed our version of Creep because I think it was 'very special' ... lol

Hey @MrBouzouki ,  would that group be considered a professional choir, a semi-professional choir, a community choir ?
 :)

(that's the terminology we use here....... maybe you'd say something else?)

Community Choir ... in three different areas. Nottingham, Lincoln and Sheffield in the UK.

We take turns at hosting the 'big concert' in rotation, it was Lincoln's turn this time and the other areas host smaller end of season concerts and we sometimes do other ad-hoc ones too.
We learn about 10 songs in 12 weeks for the end of seasons and then add about 3 more from the back catalogue to bump up the song count for the big one. Also soloists from the choir
at most events.

This particular one wasn't one learnt over 12 weeks it was one of those pulled back from the past although not many in this choir had sung it before. Lincoln a relatively new area.
The nice thing with the three areas is often you are singing with different people so a real community spirit.

Aye nearly a sell-out and a charity gig too with some of the money going to a local hospice so a nice warm feeling from that.

One thing I forgot to mention is that besides writing the choir arrangements and teaching us how to sing them, Tim our MD also produces all the backing tracks himself in his own studio.
He's done some work with people like Brian May (Queen) etc in the past so he knows his stuff.
