Hey DB, man, you did this on your mobile equipment? And you brought a mic so Mrs could add some female vox?
Really liked this version, great job, great collab! Karma poinT incoming for both of you fisch and DB! MM

Hi Marti, thanks for listening and your positive feedback. I used my laptop with reaper and have my Nexus stick with me, a hard disc with samples and the Quadcap of Roland. Along with headphones it fits in a laptop bag easily. I did not bring my microphone with me, so the vocals of Mrs. DB were already recorded but i put  another compression fx on her vocal (something called classic compression from Kjaerhus, or something like that). I also have a little camera with me, so i may be shooting some (abstract) images today and work on a video for this in an attempt to complete this project while traveling

I'll say, you have every reason to be proud of this, both DB and Fischermans !

Fisch's outstanding vocals and guitars in front of such a lovely musical canvas...

Love the suspense you're building up in the chorus... "Forgotten Words, Forgotten Time"  :)
Around 1:50 I was hoping for some more percussion to kick in, to keep the song going - and there we go, it's like you read my mind  :D  So nicely done!
In fact, I really love the chromatic percussion you used here (what is it?). I t brings so much more energy to the song, without being overpowering! (Making a mental note to steal this idea from you ...)

Even more impressive, considering the mix was done on the road  :o :o  it's effing brilliant!!

Karma for both of you for this great collab!

I like the overall feel of the whole song. You guys make it more like abstract art  :) :)

This is such a subjective song that it's hard to give some personal feedback on it other than that I like it!
As Marti mentioned, love the female voice under Fisch authentic sound! Love the last breath at the and at 3.51

Really nice music to make it trough the day!

Well done guys

PS. Db sorry I didn?t work on your song yet. I pretty busy at the moment. But I will get to it!

Hi Guys and gal,

Really nice, dark tension that finally gives way to a little release in the middle. I like the pace of the song - just draws you in bit by bit, before finally letting you go.
You're being drawn to the darkside, DB - it's a nice place is it not? :)

Very nice work.

Very moody sound. I love what you did with Fischs vocals and mrs DB adds a nice counterpoint.

I never heard the original but this is just so good. Love it when the drums come in. Some lovely percussive sounds used that lift this track from out of the hum drum of normality ( pun intended )

In comming karma.

Allan.

I echo what others have said about the dark tension of the song.  It's very cool.  I like the various percussion changes as well.

For me (and this is a matter of artistic choice) there are times when the two overlapping vocals create a really cool effect and others where I wish the two vocals would harmonize.  Again, that's just me.
