Title: flora
Post by: thewinefestival on September 25, 2020, 19:07:16
hola,  can't decide if i like this or not.  maybe too much mishmashing.  Does it work?

can’t keep going along like this
feel my tender spleen
i got daisies growing in my head
got cancer in my genes

sever my memories and my fatal errors
a matrix of nostalgia and depressed despair
i got roses growing on my grave
i held out until i caved

baby i love the way you love me
baby i feel myself falling apart

Perfect amount of mishmashing @thewinefestival .

Love the piano and that wah electric guitar that sneaks in from time to time and I seriously like how you performed and processed your vocals to get that edge.

I really wouldn’t know what to say about ‘mishmashing’.
Two translation machines can’t handle it.

But hey, you’re in good hands: if Leonard says it’s Ok, it OK right?
I’m not too keen on self flogging- lyrics, but I like the music a lot.
This is just the kind of off the slightly trodden path that makes me come back later for another listen.
Very well done @thewinefestival
Kind regards, Gus

Works for me @thewinefestival

Good groove... intriguing lyrics and delivery. I like the mix of solid bass, clean piano, edgy guitar and edgier vocals... suddenly some early David Bowie came to mind...

I especially like how the various effects come together, creating there own sonic sensibility at the end. 😎
