A small amount of GAS ;-)
on: April 15, 2019, 14:48:00
Eventually even I falls victim to Gear Acquisition Syndrome (GAS).

I've been looking for a decent, compact MIDI control surface for a while and I've taken the plunge with the Behringer X-Touch one.

Not too expensive, Mackie protocol and interfaces well with Cubase and other modern DAWS.

Even my Studio Gonks appear to like it ;-)

November Sound is based on the Mother, Father & Son musical trio of Melissa, Bill & Will. I'm the father so anything I post will have my wife singing and/or my son playing percussion.

You can laugh @Bill from November Sound but named anthropomorphic creatures are very important in a studio environment.

 :pompom: :pompom: :pompom: :pompom:

The bright orange one is 'Hardware Gonk' definitely a  GAS nut

The blue one with the ethnic headband (real Andian workmanship off some old panpipes I used to have) is 'Software Gonk'

As can be evidenced by his expression he is more worried as software can always be a pain at times.

So you see it is quite normal to have creatures in your studio and not at all odd in any way
