Hi @Dutchbeat  I like songs by Pink. Melissa and I cover some of her songs, actually.
Two things that I need to add to the discussion after watching this:
1. Her songs are okay but the multi-zillion dollar videos give them the deeper meaning. Ex. See "what about us"  nice song with very little meaning or depth  lyrically  - add video and it is an epic work about social justice and a resulting post apocalyptic world.
2. As someone who is skeptical and pretty anti politician and anti celebrity regardless of political party ...... I hate the fact that America is always at war with the world .... the Republican started it, the Democrat kept it going, the next Republican kept it going ..... never ending war & sending our youth out to die. I also hate the way celebrities make stupid political protest songs when it is an R but ignore the problem  when it's a D.  ??? That's just part of American pop culture I guess and I suppose it will never change. In my opinion the politicians and celebrities are all just terrible, uncaring, unhelpful, wasteful and  power hungry semi humans. To me they are all terrible and I wish there were more famous people out there who could prove me wrong.
Btw - I'm all for political protest songs ..... but today's excuse for "protest songs" lack subtlety, artistic merit .... especially compared to American protest songs of the industrial revolution, popular songs of the 60's , etc. that still hold their own today.

cool  @Bill from November Sound
i hear you, and can agree with much of what you say

a good way to start a discussion, i hope

but the current president may have less "unmatched wisdom", as he says he has,

and it is worrying, that he even may not be
that stable genius

that he thinks he is

and the question is...what to do, in a case like that

i think  :-X :-X :-X :P :P :P :P
