It's pretty difficult to get the choir to work on blending via skype I think.

I am a Teacher by profession but got burned out about five years ago.  Now I work in the mental health field and we never shut down.  Even if my state Indiana shuts down which it looks like they about ready to do---I have to go to work.  At work we are  required to take our temperatures and fill out a Covid-19 health questionnaire before we can go in the building stating we are symptom free.  My--- how life has changed.

Hi Bill,
I teach English as a Second Language, it is also really frustrating as a big part of my job is correcting phonetic pronunciation, which without hearing each student is complicated. I can prepare grammar sheets and you can prepare theory but when you are teaching a practical subject it is difficult (the majority of teachers in Spain mainly teach theory, but I use all inclusive methods which means a lot of practical work), I have kids/students with Dyslexia, ADD, Hyperactivity, Anxiety, I'm desperately trying to find methods to reel them in from home.
Today I am screen recording Kids English Education Videos so I can set up a classroom for each group (Probably through google classroom and private you-tube videos.

I've been learning the Ukulele through you-tube (but I already have music theory) you can make videos with play along chords / music for classes maybe. (check out rock class 10, there is a teacher on their Andrew who is amazing, great for ideas )

I use magix video maker for videos (I'm a big magix fan as I also use their music software to record) You can trial it for free, it is really user friendly.

For younger kids maybe search for some free online music games?

Lets hope this virus bu66ers off soon! People just need to be sensible and stop spreading it.

I've been a musician, scientist (chemistry) and I'm now an English teacher, the most certain thing in life is change. I was born in the UK and I remember telling my french teacher in school "why do I need to learn languages? I'm never going to leave here", so in my twenties I ended up in Spain, and I speak Spanish. Life is beyond weird!
The caring profession is an admirable one! Well done for soldiering through in this crisis! Certainly not an easy job at the best of times. x

Here in the Netherlannds we have a lockdown allright - though there are some differences with measures Germany & Belgium are taking right now.

A librarian by profession, I have been working this week from home, doing some digital libraries'work - never a dull moment as they say.

but our kids are adults
which only means they have to deal with the same situation

Our government in Spain have gone to the extreme, you can't walk your dog more than 100m, you need to carry their documents and yours and any failure in compliance is a 600 - 30000 euro fine or Jail time. I get that strict measures are necessary but seriously, you can go to jail if you walk an extra 50m?
