Back in the zone :-)

If anybody was wondering about my absence, we've had the chance to have our eldest son stay with us for a week. 

Since all the virus stuff started, we haven't seen him since Christmas and we fitted in a socially distanced birthday of our youngest son too.
Where he lives has a very low Incidence of Covid-19, but he had to travel on the train which was a worry.

Anyway, sometimes the music has to take a back seat and this was one of those occasions.

I should be around much more now :-)

Hi @MrBouzouki ...that covid thing is taking a toll on all of us...well, i know it does on me... i never thought it would be this long and at times i get a bit crazy about....always having this worry, and having to think about every trip and meeting or not meeting people etc.

but good to hear, you have taken the step and were able to see and meet again!
and good to see you back here at the kitchen....and getting back into the zone 

i wonder, @all kitchenauts, do you also get very exhausted by having to take into account covid all the time? does it still affect your live very much? Are there people who play in bands or music ensembles that have not been able to practice or play gigs? And....how many of us...had to cancel holiday trips all together, or not being able to go visit relatives or friends living further away?

pfff......

Cheers @Dutchbeat ... yes it's something we never expected in our lifetimes I think.

The global effect means differences are magnified but not always in the way you might think.

I'm in the final mixing / mastering stage of my latest Pilgrim's Way track and a few other ideas are floating around, but sometimes you need to clear the decks for a while.

I'd  be interested to hear what others have found  to help them through this current situation.
