Funny pants or fanny pants?
on: March 07, 2019, 16:48:22
Amsterdam people are familiar with ‘een stofje van de Albert Cuyp’.
Roughly translated as sheet of textile from de Boerenbonthal, located on the Albert Cuyp market.

That’s where the designer bought his stofje to make these fanny pants.
Biological differences aside, an English fanny is located at the front of a woman, while most Americans consider the buttocks to be a fanny. Or the fanny to be the buttocks.

Nicely done huh?

Now, that’s proof of creativity if you ask me.

Like it or not, chance are that the Dutch are closer than you think!
And a stofje van de Albert Cuyp too.

Kind regards, Gus
