@Dutchbeat and @MichaelA Hahaha... so now we have a plastic though maybe metal remote in an ancient house on top of an old table, which is placed in a room where Michael smokes cigars.. @Lane , did you tell Michael's wife he smokes cigars again? Thats NOT fair!

to re - enforce it too. And the  damn thing  has rollers on the bottom,,they are like them old pin-rollers mother used to make pies with!....lol  but I think they were put on later in its life.   I`ll get a cam on and post.     Lane

Put some talcum powder under that remote to see if it is really moving.

Why do the dates say 2016?
Have you entered some type of space and time portal @Lane  ? I'm really worried about this. I say don't do it.

Hi Bill,..every time you take pics with the cam, you have to time and date stamp them, I`m too lazy, I got the cam around that year
never was important to do that. I think I can get the computer to do that but I don`t know the process and I believe it only shows in pics, not video ...lol    Lane

well if I can`t get the lock to turn or open, it will stay as is...

I’m not the level headed  guy you take me for.
I am proud to be loose headed (losbollig).
And ghost or no ghost, no one’s going to convince me to glue it back on.

Apart from this, there are many ways to pick a lock, specially if it’s an old one.
I wouldn’t break the lock to prevent the ghost from ‘spitting’ fire.

@Bill from November Sound 2016 was a year in which a number of great musicians moved to the realm of the dead. The ghosts probably know this.

As for the rules of the challenge, I'm not sure if we'd already agreed on this, but I don't think the ghost needs to be a kitchen ghost, per se. Some ghosts dwell in the attic, or at the workplace. These, I can assure you, can really be the most frightening phantoms you can fathom. I'd say we should leave the attic door open to be able to exorcise them.
