Sounds dumb I know but I seem to only be able to get the entire quote... some times they are kind a long?

Well @1roomstudio I just quoted and back-spaced inside the quote. You could also just highlight  & copy the specific section of text. Then use the icon to the right above the smileys that makes a quote. Paste the selected text between the brackets.
Bill
Songwriter, Keyboards, Arranger, Producer & Engineer for November Sound

November Sound is based on the Mother, Father & Son musical trio of Melissa, Bill & Will. I'm the father so anything I post will have my wife singing and/or my son playing percussion.

Thank you @Bill from November Sound the first one I’ve used... was hoping there is a quicker one... like the second one you described.

I tried it but I don’t see “the icon to the right above the smileys that makes a quote”

Maybe because I’m on an IPad? 🤷‍♂️

I’d be more than glad to help out @1roomstudio .
If I could, that is.
I will have to try and understand what you mean by quote first.
If you look at my posts, you’ll see the ‘sunshine photo’. Under that photo the text: in tartiflette we trust.
Is this what you want to have and is this what you call a quote?

If so:
Click on your sheet music photo and you’ll be directed at your profile.
Under your user name, in the third or forth position, you will find ‘personal text’. For you to make your own tartiflette remark that’s repetitive in all your posts, change your profile, enter your favorite remark and you will have that remark displayed under your photo.

If this is not what you are looking for, please consider contacting @Chris Spruit , because she was the one who told me that what you and I call photo, is in fact an avatar.  Of course.

Good luck with your quote.
Kind regards, Gus
