Looking for a platform to keep composing with my music buddy

Hi,

Due to our Corona lockdown my music buddy and I are looking for a piece of software to keep us composing. It has to connect us with the use of Cubase on one side, good quality audio transmitted to the other side and possibilities to communicate during this all.
We tried Teamviewer and Jamkazam, but they didn't connect properly.

Any suggestions en experiences?

@Songwriter16  - depending on the operating systems of your PC's and speed of internet connection, skype, MS teams, may be Zoom (some privacy issues in the news) . But the old fashioned phone  could also work.
facebook facetime, whatsapp - for 1 on 1 realtime communication there are some options. But you always have latency so actually playing together, that 'd be a challenge.
