oh man, Paul, just came back from what seemed a very longggggg day at work, started this track from your hero Paddy...
and i enjoyed it even much more than i already thought i would....and indeed it is uncanny, how your voice, but also the vocal melody is like your music and the other way around.....i hope you are not fooling us...because i am even wondering whther you may have made this person up while it is you, like a sort of ziggy stardust....
did he ever hear a song / or songs from you. If not i am all for a coordinated collaborative kitchen action of songwriters all sending a song from you to him.....

really nice music, this is even with that rimshot drum (instead of snare, Kafla are you paying attention???) you have used on many of your songs....
amazing....how we really get influenced by what we like (i mean that in a very positive way)
off topic, but i will post my song where Mrs DB and i came the closest to a Yazoo song, in which the lyrics also even refer to the joy we had in lsitening to Yazoo, and all kinds of words and changed lines of yazoo lyrics are used to express that
but i definitely will listen to more of Paddy McAloon, what i liked here a lot, is how (in my ears) he uses traditional instruments, but it does sound different the way it is mixed it has a special sound
i hope some of this makes sense, long post to just say: great stuff! and i added a Karma point....
and: off topic again, Kafla!!!! Kafla!!! are you still there....is it technically possible to give Karma points a name that we select.....
so we can have some crazy ideas how we call this new songwriter anonymous currency???
yes, i talk too much
