New Album from JuneMay - well sort of
on: May 23, 2019, 13:19:37
Hi you all,

I have been a very bad citizen of the kitchen lately and I apologize. Part of being so quiet was that I was fully drawn into a project that I started with Carina and another friend of mine in autumn last year - which was to produce an album with songs for children (I never wrote, recorded and produced 12 songs in such a short time frame...). We are now approaching the very final steps of it and have started a Kickstarter initiative to fund the CD production. It is all in German (so I do not think that many of you will be really interested) but you can listen to snippets of all songs there (click on the video)

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/rollendesteinchen/die-rollenden-steinchen-das-leben-ist-ein-wimmelbuch

Your opinion - as always - would be highly interesting for me.

All the best,

Fabian

hey @junemay , nice to see you back on the kitchen floor  ::thumb::

i see you have been working on recording songs for children in German...
coincidentally, @Bill from November Sound is collecting songs for children in various languages to use in the classes he teaches in the US...

perhaps you can help him with a German children's song???
his thread is here:

anyway welcome back

Hi @Dutchbeat ,

thanks for your answer.

@Bill from November Sound : do you still need songs for kids? Which topic would you be mostly interested in? How old are the kids you are teaching? Then I could select one of the songs and send them to you. Would you need an English translation?

Best,

Fabian

That would be amazing @junemay !
I teach 9 & 10 year olds.
Imagine the YouTube video you could have with an American children's choir singing your song!
We would need instruction from a native speaker on pronunciation.... if you see the video that @Rachel_D made .... like that ..... but hers is really fancy... it doesn't need to be that elaborate, really.  :)

Hi @Bill from November Sound

Can you briefly watch this video that you find on our kickstarter campaign and let me know which song you like most? Then I can try to create a video around it...

Best,

Fabian

O yes I would be interested.
And o yes, i think you would be interested in views on alternative ways, financing your project. Other than kickstarter that is.
A lot of things that work in NL, work in D too.
So write me a PM if you want me to share ideas on that.

I love the rolling stones (in German) idea for children.
Children are the future.
Kind regards, Gus
