Orchestral Ending Test Piece
on: October 09, 2020, 13:32:07
Not a song, more an orchestral test piece hence not in the Song forum.

https://soundcloud.com/mrbouzouki/orchestral-ending

Trying out some new techniques and my newly acquired Chris Hein Orchestral Brass. It sounded fairly pastoral, probably the English Horn, hence the image.

I couldn't resist a bit of 'Zarathustra'-like timpani ;-)

Instrumentation Used:

Con Sord Strings - Spitfire Albion One
8ve Strings - Spitfire Albion One
French Horns Ensemble - Chris Hein Orchestral Brass
Low Brass Ensemble - Chris Hein Orchestral Brass
English Horn - Chris Hein Orchestral Winds
Flute and Piccolo - Chris Hein Orchestral Winds
Timpani - Kontakt Factory Library and Garritan PSO5

Wonderful and I agree with Dutchbeat, sweet and forceful.

And the sound is really wonderful as well.
Now ‘the only thing missing’ is the 5 minutes and 30 seconds before the end.
Maybe you struck gold. Many books are written, beginning with the end. I think that in music this has never been done.

All’s well that ends well (said the divorce lawyer). And maybe we could learn from divorce lawyers @MrBouzouki
I am curious what’ll come off this.
Kind regards, Gus

Lovely! Left me wanting more - of course. Library sounds great and you have arranged it really nicely.

Will look forward to the finished work.
