Summer means fun

Over the years , the image of how iconic things became iconic is often blurred.
When asked: what’sthe Most famous cover band in your opinion? My answer was The Beach Boys. They reproduced as faithfully as possible the songs written by Brian and recorded with the Wrecking crew et al.

In retrospect the beginnings were credited to Brian too. Which is not per se true.
So I would invite you to listen to this. Bruce and Terry. And Terry is Terry Melcher, Doris Day’s son, and responsible for the high compression sound of the Byrds and Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels.

It’s not a capella, it’s an isolated track. If you listen carefully, you can hear the headphones.
