well meant... Corona virus support songs....

hi Kitchenauts....

i just watched a clip of a well-meant song from (sort of famous) Dutch people , singers, tv persons, sports people...etc, to provide support to people during this extremely serious Corona virus crisis.

I won't post a link to the song, because i found the song, and also the feel of the entire project....
not working for me.

Do you have intiatives and songs like this in your countries too, @fellow-kitchenauts?

weakest parts for me in this Dutch song were, the spoken words intro (it in my opinion has a obvious lack of flow of the words spoken, and also a lack of originality in the words chosen) and also that kind of rather... predictable...well-meant rap break.., etc.

i also experienced an overall lack of passion, and even for me  ;D ;D ::Dutch::... a lack of any significant chord changes  ::) ::) ::)

Do you agree @Pleudoniem @oorlab @Goatrelated @budhabuilding @Mar T. @LePlongeur ?

anyway, it didn't do it for me, but i was wondering.... @fellow-kitchenauts around the globe...any songs in your countries, or states, about the virus that are good?

me, myself, and Pie

@Dutchbeat - I think I heard it on the radio in the background, wasn't doing it for me either.
But this caught my ear tonight - a fresh instrumental dance track for New Yorkers and Cuomo

It definately didn't work for me, BUT I love to see people uniting as a result of this crisis. So I didn't like the song at all, but I felt a lot of good intentions, that DID work for me.. Imo it's all about different perspectives to look at initiatives. Looked at through subjective glasses.
Beautiful but badly expressed in my perception/interpretation..

Good question though.. curious about other songs about this worldwide crisis!
I'm proud of this track, check it out! https://soundcloud.com/martimedia/dreams

So a whole lot of celebrities sang "Imagine" but with no uniform key or tempo......

Here's a musical analysis of it.  :)

Here is an improved version.  :D

I personally like unorchestrated outbursts of fun and creativity better.

Much better, to be precise.

I once got a reprimand for strumming my daughter’s violin like a guitar, and I am proud that I am not the only nutcase.

Enjoy!
Kind regards, Gus

Friends of mine post a new song everyday, for as long as the lock down lasts.
A few of them, I’ve posted on @Bill from November Sound (the collab).

And since my friends are world famous and have a massive influence in all things music, some other artists have decided to do the same. Not with the determination and stamina of my friend though, but it’s the attention that counts.
Edie Brickell (I liked her band a lot in the 80’s) for instance.

A very fine taste, she has.
Enjoy!
Kind regards, Gus

Not a lot happening @Dutchbeat!
A civilized conversation between civilized gentlemen? Oh well.....
We'll get another chance when the next virus surfaces.
Kind regards, Gus
