A fun song ....in Maltese

Hi Kitcheners,

How are you? I hope that you are well!! :) I have a different from usual song to share with you and I am really curious about what you'll think of it! It has a very fun and light-hearted mood. I created it on Friday evening after a loong and stressful week while waiting for a sushi delivery  ... with the aim of putting myself in a good mood.

... it's all recorded using a tablet (and I currently still have to purchase headphones that fit into the tablet, so when recording harmonies, I was re-recording myself and the music  )... I also added multiple sound effects - just for fun!    Can you spot them?! (there are 8 in all... 8 in 60sec  )

The lyrics are in Maltese... so here is a quick translation
(ps it is an almost literal translation, so certain phrases may sound a bit strange... but I think you get the gist  ;) ):

Title: Minutiera (= minute hand)

Every morning the day starts early
and the same question crops up
...it is slowly walking, but it feels like it's running
with giant footsteps... it's just behind me - it's the minute hand!

Why all these super hectic days?
in a lifestyle which we created for ourselves
Why all this limitless hecticness?

Remind me how to stop a bit
and observe my surroundings
open my eyes in front of a garden full of roses
and the clear blue sea

Take a deep breath
in the peace that fills the space
where time seems to stop
and I can listen to silence

hI @Rachel_D

All well here, spring is coming. Way cool! You're song in Maltese is really very inspiring and joyful. I knew Malta has its own language, but I never heard it sung in the way you do in the video with subtitles in view. Works very well!!
Mixwise it sounds good to me. Effects ? Reverb I presume?

Going to read up on the Maltese language

Yes! I always love the self-consciousness of the messages packed in your songs..
It's the small things that matter... We all feel that (maybe even more in this Corona covered world).. Your creation made me feel just that.
Thanks for sharing dear @Rachel_D !
Cheers, Love and Peace as always.
I'm proud of this track, check it out! https://soundcloud.com/martimedia/dreams

All this crammed in just one minute.
You really are a miracle @Rachel_D !!!
You tube suggested your ‘Perfect’ song when this one was finished.
That’s what I call perfect.
Love it!!!
Kind regards, Gus

Edit:
Sorry for meddling in your affairs.
But assuming that you have headphones.
And assuming it’s an Apple - lightning connection, there are adaptors that will make your head phones fit.
And approx. €10,00 is better than the new head phones.
Unless you wanted to buy them anyway!
Good hunting!
