A Moon without Sun

This song describes that kind of dream that you live as if you were really there and that after waking up, you keep living it...
For me, it was quite a challenge to make this song since I started the lyrics before making the music and it was difficult for me to fit it but I think I got it.
I had fun doing it, that's the truth

Sometimes I see a river full of dreamsÖ
shipwrecked,

and I count them one by one,
one by one,

wondering, wondering,
why, why, why, why, why, why...

Sometimes I dream of a river full of dreamsÖ
shipwrecked,
shipwrecked, shipwrecked,

and I count them one by one,
one by one,

as if they were little fish
that go looking for their mother,
for their mother...

River of dreams
shipwrecked,

River of dreams
shipwrecked,
shipwrecked, shipwrecked,

River of lost dreams
watering sleeping fields
under a moon without sun
that only gives them its cold,
its cold, its cold,

River of lost dreams
watering sleeping fields
under a moon without sun
that only gives them its cold,
its cold, its cold,

River of past waters
that nevertheless has a course
and never stays dry
or without fish to count,
or without fish to count,
I did not know that to live I had to die so many times

Blimey, a touch of the Eartha Kitts in that vocal.  Sultry jazz funk chops, heady rhythms, frenzied bongoes, exotic video.....I was intoxicated.
Not sure about the autotune, it sounded like it was used only for effect and not pitch correction.
But yeah I was three sheets to the wind on that.

@Mora Amaro La Loba    When I read your lyrics before listening I was expecting something "dreamy" , but I was pleasantly surprised. I really love the rhythm which gives me, as the listener,  a life preserver to hold onto as I'm floating down the river. I very much like the song and video.

Rhythm or not, I still think it is dreamy.
And above all because of the super artwork that goes into your videos.
I admire your work ethics sooooo much!
I hope and pray youíll be inspired for the next 40 years to come.
Please donít argue with me. This is what I truly hope for.
This kind of eccentricity is what we need, with all the Americaís got talent, the voice of hollent (donít think for a moment I donít know how to pronounce Holland, please).

Did I say I love it to pieces?
There iíve Said it.
Definitely.
Kind regards, Gus

I also love the rhythm of this particularly @Mora Amaro La Loba .. As always your music is original and intriguing.. I guess I'd like to hear it with your voice untreated? But then of course I know that's probably the effect you're going for and I do like it .. Very much enjoyed listening to this one Mora... Nice guitar work too! Big  ::thumb:: from me!

@Mora Amaro La Loba  A very cool rhythm to your dream lyrics. The hint of North African music ( is that an oud?)  adds mystery.
Trancelike  is the best description I can think of for the feeling here.
Highly original  ::thumb:: ::thumb::

Thank you @eric craptone  Yes, you are right, here I used autotune for effect.

Thank you @robertkc . I made my sounds applying different multi efx and mixing rhythms. You know, women love to cut and paste at their taste.  ::dj:: I also work with a Midi Piano when I want a special sound to accompany my voice.

Very very cool piece, @Mora Amaro La Loba . The tuned vocals work nicely for me as an effect in this and I applaud your bold choice there.

I really look forward to your material......you are as avant-garde and eclectic as it gets. How refreshing!

Another interesting musicla jouney from you @Mora Amaro La Loba ... and your songs are always journeys.
You are always taking the listener somewhere.

I'm not sure about the Vox FX, but as Lenny said it's a bold choice.

I always enjoy the guitar runs of Marcus -a bit Santana this time especially against the backing
