another song!! (longer than 50 seconds this time)

Hi everyone, how are you?

I have another song to share, this one is longer than my other ones I've shared on here (2 minutes and 30 seconds this time) and I took more time on it than usual to make it! it feels more complete than some of my others
i had lots of drafts of this one, but i like the outcome and would like some feedback to make it better! (i would still call it a rough draft)

Yes @1AmberRose1 this is exactly what I hoped for when I heard the first small shred.
And why lessen the intimacy/uniqueness by paying the mortgage of a whole band? A second uke or maybe a modest bass?
That's all it takes I think. Don't hug it to death, is what I think.

I absolutely LOVE what you do, Amber! You don't need more than your voice and that uke....but it would be amazing to hear you in an expanded setting.

This is an excellent song and a strong and honest performance.

super song @1AmberRose1  - agreeing with @Dutchbeat  and @LePlongeur , the vocal carries it well.

If you were to record this with a separated track for vocals and music, I would put a wee bit compression on the vocals, so you would still have the intention on a line like "dont talk back again, stay in sync, there's no way out of here" without the sudden rise in volume. But that's pure recording technology.

Wonderful lyrics, really and the natural spontaneity of your voice and style.

Maybe if you soften the tempo of your ukulele, your voice would fit even better, you're in good shape @1AmberRose1
