Before the Uniform Days (Collab with Oorlab)

Hi guys,

Keeping in touch has proven difficult these days, even though we live close to each other, such as oorlab and I do. We still managed to record a collab together. The idea started when I felt I had to play my Setzer Gretsch again, because I don't play it a lot, even though I love it. Another reason was that I heard Andy Tielman play at the Newyear's events on TV. The man must be in his 80s, but he's still rocking. Here is the lyric, which deals with a modern topic:

Before the Uniform Days

I must be getting old
When I think I remember
How we’d love to play
Just a few feet away

The glass in-between just
Compulsory eyewear
And nothing more

This was before the time
Of now familiar ways
This was before the time
Of uniform days

The last time we met
The chords that we heard
Still led synchronous lives

The room in-between now takes
A sleeping half second
Playback was better

I love that funky shuffle thing you have going on with this one. Great set of lyrics........

Cool collab........
"The main thing is to have a gutsy approach....but use your head." Julia Child

"In a world of robotic conformity, the only originality left in music is the imperfections" Eric Craptone

"Special thanks to Steve Gleason for making me who I am today." Leonard Scaper

Birth of the cool was a landmark.
This is birth of the frenzy @oorlab @Pleudoniem

An eclectic piece of music gentlemen!
I couldn’t keep from grinning lyrics-wise!
Kind regards, Gus

Me either like the lyrics and the delivery of vocals are great! :)
Needless to say you both are a great combo. :D
