Blank Paper
on: March 18, 2022, 21:52:52
Hola chicos!!

This time with a song in which I describe the hard task of creating something despite having a blank mind, just like a blank piece of paper. I think it's very entertaining to listen to and watch.  Stay well and enjoy eery day!!!

Mora

It's always hard
to face
a blank paper  x2

Will I know how to weave
with what is not there x2

How to fill that void
so pure
with what words
or thoughts
to navigate its surface

Will I know how to weave
with what is not there x2

Will my hand be the medium
that writes a story
that I don't know x2

My mind
the architect
that builds something that substains
by itself

My soul
that appears in my eyes
to discovwe
invisible ink

Will I know how to weave
with what is not there x2

I did not know that to live I had to die so many times

O yes, what a lovely imagery @Mora Amaro La Loba !
And you bring it to life.
With a folded paper boat no less.

I’ll be back later for sure, to enjoy and understand it fully!
Like stay safe, it has many layered meanings nowadays.

So, stay safe please.
Kind regards, Gus

Always amazed at the creativity and quality production from both you and @Marcus Nalgaber @Mora Amaro La Loba

A subject we can all relate to... but given your consistent creative gifts... a bit ironic, maybe even "tongue-in-cheek" to explore this experience from a team that is so prolific.

An irritable groove... I had to dance... and the engaging video ....

I continue to learn from masters such as yourselves.  :praise:

Thank you for sharing

Seriously good video.....and, of course, the musical production is top shelf as always.

Wow @Mora Amaro La Loba
mesmerising and surreal. The little boat flotas well. Lovng the detail of the Matrushka.
"Discover invisible ink" a poetic way of putting it.  :pompom:

Hey (OK Hola) Mora . . . I've noticed a lot of your music has very soft edges to it, and very organic rhythms . . . very enjoyable to watch your videos while listening as well. The videos simply amaze me, you have some mastery of that medium as well, for sure ! I'm always thinking, now how did they do that ? . . . because I have no idea about video possibilities . . . but watching what you do here makes me want to learn more.

@Mora Amaro La Loba so courteous of you to overlook the auto-correct attempt at my misspelling of “irresistible” I humbly apologize for not paying closer attention.  :doublebonk:

Yes... things are upside down here as well... although oddly, for Americans, having a common enemy helps us stop fighting among ourselves. We all wish it were not so... and continue to do what we can.

Hi there,

at first i thought what is this? Neither the voice goes with the music nor does the music go with the voice.
But the longer I listened, the more I was fascinated by the total work of art made up of music and lyrics. It all fits together the way it is and I need to stop jumping to conclusions. I think it's brilliantly done and this is the third time I've listened to it.
The video is cool too.

Hola @oorlab
Thank you, this song was born by itself, as if it were automatic writing, I was in a moment of paralysis of ideas!!! The invisible ink thing was a good idea, right? I believe in those things, everything is written.
The Matriuska is very old, it was a gift from a friend of mine at school, the granddaughter of a Russian prince exiled in Madrid, I think it was around the 1940s.

Stay safe

@Mora Amaro La Loba

Quite unique to write about the process of writing.  Beautiful backdrop of music and engaging video.  This is very much mood music and always welcome to listen to.

@Mora Amaro La Loba   - "Russian prince exiled in Madrid, I think it was around the 1940s" - cool!! You remember his name? There must have been quite some Russian princes in excile. Where I grew up there was a very old exciled Russian Princess - I remember meeting her when I was just 5 years, and she wore  an impressive black dress and peculiar black jewelry... she was called Madam Katin, which must have been a pseudonym...
