Cleanse my heart

My first post here and I guess this song is a good example of my "style" and what to expect in the future 
This one was written pretty easily but recording it took some time and mixing it has taken forever.
I think the current mix is the best I can do (at the moment at least) but feedback is still very much appreciated of course.
And that goes feedback on  the song, lyrics, playing etc. as well.

And btw, getting from 4/4 to 3/4 was easy, getting back to 4/4 was a bitch

I like your style of music.Very good and full production.Do you play all instruments by yourself? Sounds like a lot of work.

                    I  Like this & it kind of  reminded me (in Bits) of Lucy in the sky & fool on the hill  I  can hear The Beatles influence.
I definately know a lot of work went into this & its a complex arrangement   So very well done. I liked how it started & was pleasantly hooked when it went into the second bit where it picks up the beat etc.  Some parts after that 2nd bit are great but might need a return look  (They are almost there) just clashing very slightly between the drum n bass ( I think) but Otherwise very impressive  look forwards to more  of your stuff  WELCOME    Enjoyed this  Very Good     Stylus

Lovely dynamics in this arrangement. I love the way you are able to build up some sections and then pull it back, very good control.  The only part I found a bit distracting was the latter section when you relied on a lot of drum rolls to me it clashed with the groove of the song and at times seemed to be at odds to the beat of the supporting instruments. I can see what you were trying to achieve with it but I think it doesn't quiet come off, but other than that I think its a really good song. Well written and that guitar solo near the end, made me think of Pink Floyd.

Yes; I do everything myself which is great fun but also very time consuming and from time to time very frustrating. Guitars, bass and vocals are "live", drums programmed and keyboards partly played, partly programmed.

Lovely sounding intro synths.
I like the tones on the acoustic.
The drums seem a little busy under the chorus.  Really like the bit that comes after the first chorus.
Lots of nice changes - quite proggy.

very nice harmonies and all of the instrumentation seems to fit very well...nice bass line that starts around 2:00 great guitar solo...definite PF feel
