Hey there everybody.
It's been some time since I've posted something new in here. I know I'm quite late with this (the meme is probably already dead) but I really wanted to try it out.
It's an "Epic Orchestral" cover of Astronomia from Vicetone and Tony Igy

So what do you think about it?

@TDM - sounding fresh to my ears. But I haven't heard the original or am familiar with a meme about the 'original Astronomia'.
How did you tackle the 'recomposing'?

Oh well the actual song is electro, I guess the difference is just too great rightnow  :blackgrin:
The original one is this one

I pulled down the speed and focused more on emotions. I mean most or almost all other orchestral covers of this song just play the main melody through out the track which to me sounds too monotone. I thought using the main melody of the song as the highlight would give it a bit more dramatic feelings. Then with adding some elements of THAT melody into the slow beginning people should be able to notice that all is connected.
This is actually my first try ever to cover someone else's song as an epic orchestral piece.  :yes:
