Moonstone
Country song from Phil Bowen's eclectic catalogue
Music and lyrics: Phil Bowen
Guitar and keyboards: Phil Bowen
Engineered and produced: Phil Bowen

One less road to the root of my mind
you have me bewitched. I feel spell bound
from the moment we kissed this feeling persists
that our futures are set on this merry go round

One less road to the root of my heart.
The very first kiss was like the very first dart
that hit me full centre. You never could miss.
You always understand and had a head start.

It takes a little time to find my way home.
I need a little fortune, so I bought a moonstone
I place it by my heart to bring me better luck.
You know it takes time to find my way home.

Sometimes we get so lost in thought
that pull us down roads, and we end apart.
Thatís why I need, I need a moonstone.
Thatís why I need, I need a moonstone.

Thatís why I need, I need a moonstone.
Thatís why I need, I need a moonstone.

Welcome @Phillip Bowen to the Kitchen.
And what a pleasant song for your intro here. Contrary to some people on SoundCloud, I am not very happy with the sound of your guitar, but that maybe a matter of taste (or lack of taste) on my side.

What I very much like is the clarity of the overall sound and most of all I like the non-flashy guitar playing. No 500 notes per second but easy story telling. Wonderful.

As far as I can see, you are a special Ďvoiceí in the kitchen. Love that!
Keep on keepin on, as Curtis said.
Kind regards, Gus

Nice work @Phillip Bowen  .... a kind of cute bouncy pop.

Welcome to the kitchen!

Looks like you're getting some traction with this track! Please consider posting an introduction in the "Me" section.

I'm listening on good headphones and I love where the instrumentation comes from right at the start. Nice production of a really pleasant tune.
