Very jaunty Steve - lots of words over a wide tonal range! It does have that almost Goth start which is great, almost Tarantino-esque - maybe the vocal could come in a little earlier? Solid body electric Mandolin - exotic!

Give my regards to my home town... I will @Tolo  - is that Hexham or Newcastle? Been away long? Thx for comments.

Best,

Tony

Well Steve @redmando , I've not heard the music let but I've just had to comment on your great lyrics.

As you say, very much in the style of Hotel California, but in some ways your lyrical story is somewhat better.

I'll take a proper listen when I get more chance, but I just wanted to comment on this great piece of storytelling :-)

Nice One

Actually closer to Durham Steve - have been away for far too long...but over the years have still travelled back regularly to see family and to put myself through expensive misery at SJP...

A true Geordie then - wasting your money at the Cathedrale de St.James! I did the same every home game until we were locked out by the pandemic. Looking forward to a good beating by Southampton tonight!

real nice story telling song with a surprising intro and very subtle once de vocal starts. I like it a lot, and it reminds me somewhat of Calexico.
