Delicous Grace - Nocturnal

We've got a new demo out called ''Nocturnal''. This song is about having a hard time trying to find your own ''rhythm'' in life. Hope you guys like it.

CIRCADIAN RHYTHM
The Latin words circa diem translate to Ďabout a dayí. Circadian rhythms are pretty ancient. They are a result of life that evolved on a planet that rotates over a period of 24 hours. Being able to anticipate daily environmental fluctuations is remarkably useful, hence these biological clocks are virtually ubiquitous. Disrupting them causes complications. Circadian rhythms are therefore fascinating on a molecular, medical and evolutionary level.

Lyrics: Nocturnal

To adjust your rhythm
The origin of your freedom
Night comes to meet you there
The place, the pace, you dare

The black sky above you
An invitation to your imagination
Thereís no ring or bell
Itís only brightness well

To keep up with time
Those things that come to mind
They said that you were wrong
But Science cannot reply

The moon stares in loneliness
You should join it like the stars
The morning doesnít belong to you
Though you took too long to find

chorus:
Donít be afraid to show your nocturnal thing (Circadian)
To show your intellect to me
The old people knew
Behave, have fate, embrace, be great!

This has a bit of a Pink Floyd feel to it it. I like the lyrics and the general feel of the song but the vocals are kind of hard to make out.

It does have an early Floyd vibe for sure and maybe a bit of early Bowie too.

I like it when people describe what inspired them and thanks for including the lyrics.

This demo does have an overall distortion that distracts from what is an interesting song.

It would be good for you if you could sort this issue to give people a better experience of what is interesting music.

Your song is unusual and interesting, and I think that the guitar of the introduction could use an atmosphere with more space, a reverb that gave it that excellence it deserves since it is the only instrument that initiates the track.

I think like @Leonard Scaper, your song has a dreamlike style, however, you should check how you recorded the voice since the sound has distorted and blurred it and that is a pity, this way I can't appreciate your so special music.

Thanks you for listening, Leonard. I agree that we went too far with the distorted vocals. We were trying a similar sound.

I'm glad you liked some of it.

Thanks for the heads up, MrBouzouki. What an honor to be compared at some level to Pink Floyd and Bowie.

We're gonna try fix this and maybe have another demo out at some point.

I agree with you on this. It's really over distorted. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again so you can enjoy our song.

Fantastic reading, Gus. Thanks for sharing. That's a great subject for a songwriter to scape from the ordinary day life situation, my friend. I'm very into it.

I'm glad you liked it.
