Demon Eyes (Ghost in the Kitchen Challenge)
on: September 28, 2019, 00:50:41
Hey Kitchen!

Here is my entry for the Ghost in the Kitchen Challenge.

Demon Eyes
https://soundcloud.com/andomobot/demon-eyes

She's got the sweetest smile you've ever seen
A vision from a dream
One look at her and you'll believe
But you're never in control
Don't try to understand
she'll take you by the hand
And lead you to forbidden lands.

Just as midnight strikes
Something kills the lights
Danger fills the night
Evil in the air
Twisted truth or dare
A fantasy nightmare

Demon eyes
Burning bright
Through dark delights
Demon eyes
She plays to thrill
Before the kill.

She got the brightest mind you've ever known
No fear of life alone
Her destiny is carved in stone
But you'll never win her heart
It's all about the chase
She slip from your embrace
And disappear without a trace.

Classic piece of Hard Rock! Good energy, solid guitar playing, great lyrics.

Id like to hear a bit more bass and percussion percussion but overall a good mix,

Nice work! 😎

@DanJames A very nice hardock tune. It does have a bit of a glamrock taste to it - T-Rex, and a bit like Mud, but that cannot possibly be bad. It's a very classic ghost story from a Rocky Horror show. Great work! I quite enjoyed listening to it.
Pleudoniem: composer; bass guitarist; guitarist; singer; drummer; tap-guitarist - o, and yes... erm- a bit of keys. Open for collabs.

Wow @DanJames ,

This song is simply brilliant! Definitely my favourite of yours and on my top list of the most intriguing song creations that I've come across in the kitchen (I'm repeatedly pushing the replay button X) ). Great tone, setting and ambience, capturing and energising intro, perfect sounding lyrics which match the setting and rhythm nicely, great singing melody, wonderful transitions and riff and brilliant build-up. I want to sing along!

Brilliant work!

Sit up and get ready  ::thumb::that intro :praise: @DanJames  and it all builds to a killer chorus ( excuse the pun).
Your vocals and production skills are always top shelf- this is spine tingling stuff right to the dropped-off-a-cliff ending.
Very cool.
