first of the year from me - "Do You Still Believe"

 I've decided I'm going to try and produce 1 track per month for 2021, I managed to not fall at the first hurdle and this is what I made for January.

@Dakoda   This song surprised me. I'm thinking of it as a danceable protest song and a reflection of a bit of what's going on without being preached to

yes this for me
is a cold combination of 80's decadence, with a frustration born of current state of the world and sobriety.
80's was the last great decade of songwriting for me.

Really enjoyable - and so nostalgic - loving those big syn drums! Your falsetto vocal in the chorus itself has an ethereal synth quality about it. I would have loved to hear some League-esque backing vocals on this too - just for the cherry on top. Is there a slight nod to Abba at the end - the flute instrument has a touch of the 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' riff?

 But it got my toe tapping on a wet Joburg morning...

This is what I like about this songs for review thingy. It makes me listen to song I normally would not listen to.
The combi between the music (the style too) and the lyrics are great.

No Tengo Dinero - A bit like Righeira, very 80s. Remember Freeez? And Divine? Italo dance mixes. Yes, they all return with this song. Compliments that you succeeded in doing that.

I was a bit surprised by the occasional beat skipping in the song. Interesting, as it keeps on rolling none the less.

Brought back the 80s to me straight away. Not the sort of thing I listen to now, but a wonderful life-affirming track whatever the lyrics might say. Excellent!

The beat is so good. Production is 

It's got that 80s vibe that I love! I also get Abba from it too haha. Sometimes it reminds me of "hung up" by Madonna. She sampled Abba in that one.
