Wow Z, sounds better to me! I like the mix of the instruments... You have a very nice voice, do I remember right I read somewhere you used a pc mic to record the vocal lead? If so: my next step would be to get your hands on a better mic if you can... Or do I hear too much effect on the voice? MM
I'm proud of this track, check it out! https://soundcloud.com/martimedia/dreams

Thanks MM!!! No I used a zoom but I will record again with better mic. I put a lot of reverb on the vocals, and then my guitarist friend took my mix, added guitar and then added even more reverb. I have the raw files so my next task is to try strip it back and then start again  :)

Yw Z.. Ok better mic... check v. My advice: don't put a lot of reverb on your lead voice! And if you do: just a little bit of early reflections and a large hall (for this song). Maybe a really really little bit of delay, but I think you only should notice the delay when you bypass it (so you notice it is indeed missing). If you want me to treat your vocals incl reverb and delay (when recorded clean without fx through a proper mic) plz ask, I'll return a vocal track that fits in the mix (imo)... Ok? MM

Thanks for the advice and the offer!! I will try first myself to see how I get on but I might take you up on your very kind offer - as I really haven't a clue what I'm doing but there's only one way to learn, right??? :)

Really appreciate it...

Z
