French Science -Fiction song
on: September 23, 2018, 20:06:30
This is my last song. I sing in French. I wrote the lyrics as an extension of a science-fiction role playing game that I made the scenario. It is about going in a dystopian neo-sovietic alternative world. So I wanted it weird and retro.  :)

Hey @Buma I already like this track a while ago ... based on the music....

I like the feel. I love the harmonic progression! It is so cool.  8)

I don't really understand French too well. ( I just like to play the Duolingo app... ha,ha!  :D ....) Anyway, I tried some Google translate on it. Is it about an elephant of the future? I remember reading some science fiction where the only way to survive the planetary conditions that would kill a human was to be converted from human into an animal that could survive on said planet. However, once converted they'd disappear and never want to return to human form. .... Is it something like that?  Could you offer some insight into the story? I find it fascinating.

It's nice seeing somebody using Linux to make music.

It's quite a musical journey and nice to hear unexpected twists and turns during the track.

great tune! Love Science fiction - to read and also in music. "neo-sovietic alternative world" - that's a cool way to put it.
Love the singing and weird turns.

I love how this tune moves....and changes....then moves some more....and then changes again. Love it!

Really cool production......seriously interesting chord changes and harmonies.

Excellent way to end it. Great song!!!

Actually, the protagonist named Dirk, is walking on a carpet in a long corridor. He arrives to the place he was looking for. This is a special room where a elephant lives. After talking about his intentions to the animal, this one takes Dirk with his trunk and  moves him to the other side of the room. Dirk thanks the elephant, because on this side he is on the alternate universe he wanted to reach, that is the neo-sovietic one.
