Hey @Leonard Scaper - I actually listened to this a few days ago but haven't had a chance to comment yet. It's a lovely piece - I just LOVE the lyrics. Quite moving really and I really love that you've taken that moment in time and made it into this powerful and positive song.  It is beautifully sung .. the warmth is striking.. I think this might be my favourite of yours so far and I really like the concept of the "final third".. Magnifique!

@Zedd .....thank you so much for all that, especially for the appreciation of the final third concept. I stewed over that.....thought it might be a bit too...esoteric.

The honesty and vulnerability make this powerful.  Lovely guitar work.

It is true, these (not last but coming) years, will be gold!

But well! What's happening here today? hehehehe  ;D
I'm listening to songs that make me sad and melancholy !!!
And you, with your deep voice and that lyrics so ... of end? My God!
Next weekend you have to make another song with the opposite color to black .... Man!

Out of jokes, I really liked the song, and how it opens from 0:22 as well how the other instruments appear.

What microphone do you use? Do you work with Logic? You get the right balance between voice and music

OMG! How sad you have put me. :farewell:
I did not know that to live I had to die so many times

Oh my @Mora Amaro La Loba ....do not be sad! As we age we see our past through the prism of the present and those broken but clear images can propel us into our future with a new perspective. This was a song about feeling the weight of my years but knowing that carrying that weight has given me the strength to go forward with a young and vibrant body and soul.  ;)

I use a Peluso 22-251 tube microphone that I run into protools. I have learned to capture the sound of my room with me playing and singing in it....that helps me to keep it natural.

...a very emotive song... quite heavy... it makes one think and reflect about life....
... and looking at it from a slightly alternate angle > it's great to be opening the 'final thrid' with music and with such a good-sounding vocal timbre :)
