Is dat de mond?/Is that the mouth?

The third song I post in both Dutch and English.
To get into it, I wrote 10 of those on two series: 10 in Dutch and 10 in English.

Is dit de mond?/Is this the mouth? is the second from that series.

Is dat de mond?

Link Nederlandse versie:
https://soundclick.com/r/s8cbu7

Misschien OK in noord Afrika
In Amsterdam overkill

Wat vind je ervan als jouw zuster
Door mij voor hoer wordt uitgemaakt?
Dan ben je op je allermanlijkst
Stoere rifka, lichtgeraakt

Br
Je vader kwam naar Nederland
Trapte zijn slof aan de achterkant in
Maar dat aanpassen van één kant komt
Dat kan er bij mij niet in

Ref
Vindt je dat mijn vriendin een hoer is?
En if so hou je mond gerust
Want die grote bek, is dat de mond
Waarmee je je moeder kust?

Is that the mouth?

You say they wear their headscharf
On a volutairy basis
But if I walk through Amsterdam
There’s still no oasis

The Persian scarf of my girlfriend
Is cause for remarks galore
Many psss psss sounds behind us
Lots of baby, slut and whore

I understand the voluntairy nature
Voluntairily go before your cam
Maybe OK in North Africa
Inappropriate in Amsterdam

What would you think if I call your sister
A whore – you’d be easily excited
You’d be at your most manly
Tough rifka – easily ignited

Bridge
Your father came to the Netherlands
kicked in his shoe at the back you see
but if change should only come from one side
that would not be OK with me

Ch
So you think my girlfriend’s a whore
And if so shut up forthwith
Because that big mouth, is that the mouth
You kiss you mother with

I am a little shocked to find out in the past time that some authors here create their lyrics in such a way that they hardly make any deeper sense or even have no intention of conveying a concrete message.
Whether this is a stylistic device or an inability or highly pleasure to see how others react to a written Rorschach test by throwing a few emotive words as fragments  into the room is up to you.   I have already had some interesting PM exchanges on this topic and i didn't expect that this is spreaded so far among songwriters.
Not blame you for that, I  just want say with this that  I rtather really want to take others very seriously when they ask for a (lyrical) review, but please help me, what exactly do you want have a look at or an opinion to?

Music and arrangement, review  I don't feel very suitable as  I can't help much. But I really like this sound! ;) :ok:

Hope this finds you well, @Mo !
I have no reason to write what others want. Not morally, not financially either. This is a very pleasant place to be in. So I can write any thing  or about anything at all.
Plus I write a lot more than I can make songs of. This is also very nice.

I don’t think I am looking for reviews as such, but a chapter ‘post here your things for entertainment of Kitcheners only’ is not present in the Kitchen.

So you’ve encountered my reckless partying, and my social comment. And most of my songs are about these subjects.
I’m a storyteller at heart, and love to write. And there’s no point in doing what all the others do, is there?
There’s really not much more to it.

I hope you liked the song and it’d like to thank you for taking the time to listen.
Kind regards, Gus

a written Rorschach test

Interesting image @Mo;)

I have always seen @LePlongeur 's lyrics as something similar to that but with a personal slant that takes a bit of free form listening to appreciate. What might appear at first to be a somewhat amorphous shape definitely comes into focus when listened to from a certain perspective.

I’m really sorry @Mo that I overlooked your Rorschach test. What a very very original way to look at things.
And thank you @Leonard Scaper for drawing my attention to my mistake.

I am very grateful and happy with both. for both, what do I know.
And with you listening to my music.
Kind regards, Gus

Don't worry @LePlongeur
I'm absolutely pleased with your first answer, it helped me to get the entries of yours in the review section right and I'm heavily fine with just enjoy your nice songs without you 'll rather need a feedback  about lyrics or techniques   ::Rachel::  I always enjoy your vibrant  and humorous way to point  at  things.

There are many quotes, and to be honest, I didn’t see this one before.

The one I feel mostly drawn to is:

Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work.

Gustave Flaubert

But, as you are a very special person, I will be rethinking your quote to see what I can learn from it.
Thank you for your time and searching for a fitting quote for my music.
Kind regards, Gus

I hope YOU are not concentrating on the MADMAN. The Quote just jumped directly into my mind because of the :

for those who understand us enslave something in us….

But now I ask myself:

what is a madmans understanding of a head _cloth. ??? (Chosen that word and not scarf….it is in the  iddle of english and dutch and german)

Gus is not the madman :-) that I know, Nothing more :-)

Your lyrics make me think further that is crazy and I love that, you know.

I enjoyed every bit of your quote @Chris Spruit , and don’t worry. I never thought for a moment that madman was specially for me. Or against me.
Although there’s something to be said for not being normal. If I see what normal people do, I don’t want to be normal at all.

Yes, hmmmmm..... come to think of it. What have we got to lose?

Kind regards, Gus

Boy, boy, what the heck are we cooking up in this kitchen! You are you, and... even more so, Gus is Gus. This time I read the lyrics before listening and that gave me a fresh appreciation of your abilities as a writer and composer. I wasn't hindered by the sometimes inaudible performance of your poetry and could enjoy the 'story line' . And thus Gus what remains is a pregnant song. Sonically maybe a distant cry, but in the real world of the Mercatorplein more than nearby. As always,  :ok: @LePlongeur
If you dig it, do it. If you dig it a lot, do it twice (Jim Croce).
