Juan Ponce De Leon

Been awhile, not asking for anything but here's a song if anyone is looking for something to listen to.  Hope you enjoy.

Sound:  https://soundcloud.com/aesthetique/juan-ponce-de-leon

Sometimes I feel a little empty
On Sundays – always.
I remember my grandma’s spaghetti
She’s dead now
Petals on a wet, black bough

Sometimes I feel a little embarrassed
About last night – it’s alright
I hung myself with love [generic]
I’m dead now
Quoting Ezra Pound

Can you trust me to leap?
Can you make me believe?
Can you measure the deep?
Can you sing me to sleep?

I am ALWAYS looking for homegrown music to listen to.

This is a good one......VERY interesting and enigmatic lyrics. Cool production.

You didn't actually sing those last lyrics (or did you?) but I still hear them in there.  ;)
"The main thing is to have a gutsy approach....but use your head." Julia Child

"In a world of robotic conformity, the only originality left in music is the imperfections" Eric Craptone

"Special thanks to Steve Gleason for making me who I am today." Leonard Scaper

I love music that melts and the lyrics that are puzzles. Congratulations @thewinefestival  Very good taste and a lot of class. ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb:: ::thumb::

Love this one. You asked me to listen, @thewinefestival .
I don't regret it that I did it.
I ask for a favor in return.
Don't keep us waiting this long again?
Kind regards, Gus

I appreciate the kind words @Leonard Scaper , @Mora Amaro La Loba, @LePlongeur , @Dutchbeat   - im glad you found something worthy in it.   Those words are sung at the end, FYI.

I have been writing and recording for the past year without posting much for some reason it felt like the right thing to do try to put something out into the world that was cohesive but it's kind of archaic to think that way these days.   I plan to try to post some and listen to more but i'm not too great at keeping up.
